Receipts and Attachments

Attachments keep receipts and documents connected to the transactions they explain.

Best for: users who need receipts, invoices, or document proof attached to financial records.

Attachments

Attach receipts, invoices, screenshots, or documents so each transaction keeps its supporting proof in the same record.

  1. Open transaction form.
  2. Add document or image attachment.
  3. Save transaction.
  4. Open transaction detail to view attachments.

Transaction Details

Open a transaction to verify every saved detail, update the record, delete it, or convert it into a scheduled transaction.

  1. Tap transaction.
  2. Review amount, category, account, date, note, activity, tags, and attachments.
  3. Tap Edit to update.
  4. Tap Delete to remove.
  5. Tap Schedule Transaction to turn it into a recurring transaction.

Import And Export Data

Move data into or out of ExpenseKit with supported imports, exports, reports, and activity backup files.

  1. Open import/export screen.
  2. For export, choose export format and time period.
  3. Export all-time or selected year.
  4. Share or open exported file.
  5. For import, choose CSV, Excel, or JSON activity backup.
  6. Select file.
  7. Review import result.

Note: CSV and Excel imports skip detected duplicates. JSON activity restore validates file and reuses matching transactions when possible.
