Common questions

How do I group trip expenses in ExpenseKit?

Create an activity for the trip, then attach related transactions such as flights, hotels, transport, food, and shopping to that activity.

What happens if I delete an activity?

Deleting an activity removes the activity grouping. Linked transactions stay saved and are no longer attached to that activity.

Can I restore an activity backup?

Yes. Use Restore Activity Backup from the import/export screen, select the JSON backup file, and confirm restore. Matching transactions are reused when possible.
